MRES awards scholarships to 12 high school graduates

Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) has awarded scholarships to 12 high school graduates as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and developing future energy professionals. Five students received $1,000 renewable scholarships for college or university study, while seven students were awarded $2,000 powerline scholarships to pursue technical training in energy-related fields. Missouri River Energy Services (MRES), Great River Energy, Minnesota Power, Otter Tail Power Company and Xcel Energy have applied to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission for a Certificate of Need to add a second transmission line circuit to the existing power line that runs along Interstate 94 between Fargo and Alexandria.
