Hoye announces retirement

Jim Hoye, who has served over 20 years on the Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) Board of Directors (Board), recently announced his retirement from the Board. The Board accepted Hoye’s resignation during its Dec. 7 meeting and adopted a resolution of commendation and appreciation for his decades of loyal, dedicated service.

While pumped storage technology is proven and the need for energy storage solutions is essential for regional reliability, MidAmerican and MRES have decided not to pursue the Gregory County Pumped Storage Project at this time.
