The MRES® Municipal Power Leadership Academy (MPLA) is a two-day conference that provides a necessary introduction to the world of public power and the responsibility of governing and operating the utility in your community. This event highlights your relationship with MRES and the value of public power, and it also includes presentations from MRES subject-matter experts on power supply and markets, renewables, distributed generation, rates and cost of service, cybersecurity, energy services, member programs, governance, and more! This year, the MPLA will be held in the new training room at the MRES office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Who should attend?
The MPLA is ideal for new or recently hired managers, city managers, mid-level managers, utility board members and city council members. This course is the same as the one offered in previous years.
