We Power On. 2020 was like no other. COVID-19 had a profound impact on our country and our communities, and its effects will be felt for years. Beginning in March, many schools, churches and businesses shut their doors and people stayed at home in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19.
We quickly responded by supporting our employees and our members and their customers. Almost overnight, we transitioned our employees to work from home, expanded our remote technology capacity, and put protocols and processes in place to keep our employees safe. Electricity became more important than ever as people conducted business virtually. And, despite all of these changes, the commitment MRES made to delivering affordable, reliable energy and energy services was a constant on which our members could rely.
Throughout the year, we continued to do business, met our mission of keeping the power flowing and the lights on, delivered a solid financial foundation, and maintained strong relationships with our members.
