Students at IGNITE Pathways of Woodbine will be able to learn about indoor agriculture this fall, thanks to a “farm-in-a-box” donated by Woodbine Municipal Light and Power’s wholesale power supplier, Missouri River Energy Services (MRES).

16 MRES member utilities and one associate recognized for reliable electric service

Sixteen public power utilities that are members of Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) and one associate member have earned national recognition for achieving exceptional electric reliability in 2022. The recognition comes from the American Public Power Association (APPA), a trade group representing more than 2,000 not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities.
