The Municipal Power Learning Academy (MPLA) is a dynamic two-day experience designed as a necessary introduction to the essentials of public power and your utility’s partnership with MRES. This event is not only a great opportunity to learn more about the electric utility industry and MRES programs and services, but also a chance to build valuable relationships with MRES staff and fellow members.
The MPLA will be held in the new training facility at the MRES office:
Wednesday, Sept. 16
1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – Dinner with Friends (optional), location TBD
Thursday, Sept. 17
8 a.m. – noon
Who Should Attend?
The MPLA is an ideal setting for new or recently promoted staff — especially people in leadership roles — as well as local policymakers, such as city council or utility board members.
