Our organization is a joint-action agency that supplies electricity and a wide range of energy-related programs and services to public power communities in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The bars in the green area to the left will help as you page through our site. You can learn about public power, our organization, and our programs and services. In our Legislative Updates section, you will find information on state and federal legislative matters that affect MRES, our members, and our industry.

Our What's New section includes online versions of our newsletter, "MRES Today," our Annual Report and our Year in Review presentation, as well as information about MRES employment
opportunities.

MRES has always been dedicated to a power supply program that is environmentally sensitive. You can learn about our commitment by viewing our environmental booklet online in the Environment portion of our Who We Are section.
