MRES member utilities recognized for reliable electric service to their communities

Nineteen public power utilities that are members of Missouri River Energy Services (MRES), and three associates, have earned national recognition for achieving exceptional electric reliability in 2021. Certificates of Excellence in Reliability were awarded by the American Public Power Association (APPA), a trade organization that represents more than 2,000 not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities.

Six members of Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) and one associate are among the 138 public power utilities nationwide to earn the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Safety Award of Excellence in 2021. Nearly 320 utilities from across the country submitted applications to be considered for the annual Safety Awards.
