Electric and Water Rate Studies

With costs rising for both electric and water utilities, it is essential to have properly structured rates. Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) offers a rate study service that provides utilities with the information they need to assure their rates are in line with the costs of providing service. The studies also include five-year income and cash reserve projections and in-depth comparisons to other utilities. Since the program’s inception in 1998, MRES has completed over 90 rate studies.
